We offer a wide range of clubs during the school year, led by school staff, parent volunteers or outside providers. These activities may take place before school, during break and lunch times, or after the school day has finished.

Our clubs and activities include:

• Our Silchester School Choir - the children in the choir perform at school and community events throughout the year as well as joining many other local primary schools to take part in the BPSM Concert at The Anvil.
• Music – individual instrument tuition via the Hampshire Music Service (guitar, brass, keyboards, flute) or via our visiting drum teacher Charlie Webb.
• Rocksteady Lessons – children form their own rock band and perform to the school.
• Sports Clubs – football, netball, tag rugby, tennis and judo.
• Arts Clubs – Creative Minds, mindful colouring, reading and Lego.
• Academic Clubs – Homework club, phonics booster, times table practice.
• Quiet Club - A member of SLT opens up Maple Classroom at lunchtimes with lots of 'quieter' activities on offer e.g. crafts, crochet, jewellery making, Lego, painting, colouring, games etc.  This enables all children to choose an inside option at lunchtimes if they find the playground too much.
